For years, Cranbrook has recognized the Outlaws as the local lacrosse club name. However, at the start of 2023 the announcement was made that Cranbrook lacrosse would don new jerseys and a new logo, as they rebranded to the Cranbrook Blackwolves.

The undefeated Junior Blackwolves are heading in to the busiest phase of their lacrosse season. They finish the regular season, and their quest to remain undefeated in league play on July 15/16 in Olds. The Blackwolves have secured first place and a first round bye in the playoffs. They will host the second round on July 29th & 30th at Cranbrook’s Memorial arena.

Baseball season is in full swing and local teams are in the thick of it. The U13 All-star B Team, made up of players from Kimberley and Cranbrook just won the sylvan Lake Big Summer Swing Baseball Tournament last weekend. They defeated the Prince George Knights in the high scoring final, 17 to 16.
