Lacrosse: Blackwolves undefeated as regular season winds down

The undefeated Junior Blackwolves are heading in to the busiest phase of their lacrosse season. They finish the regular season, and their quest to remain undefeated in league play on July 15/16 in Olds. The Blackwolves have secured first place and a first round bye in the playoffs. They will host the second round on July 29th & 30th at Cranbrook’s Memorial arena.

The undefeated Junior Blackwolves are heading in to the busiest phase of their lacrosse season. They finish the regular season, and their quest to remain undefeated in league play on July 15/16 in Olds. The Blackwolves have secured first place and a first round bye in the playoffs. They will host the second round on July 29th & 30th at Cranbrook’s Memorial arena. If victorious, The team will then travel to Innisfail, AB for the RMLL Provincial Championships that will be held August 4-6 and then on to Port Coquitlam, BC for the MacDonald Cup, the Western Canadian Championships that will run August 9-13.

As part of their application to move up to a higher tier, the team has been competing in Junior B, Tier 1 and Tier 2 games this season. They continue to dominate the Tier 2 league and have demonstrated their success in the Tier 1 league with one win, one loss and one tie game. The Blackwolves will be busy training over the next month and would welcome fans at the play off games! There will be a concession, beer garden and a chance to win a 50-50 lottery.

July 29 at 2 pm

July 30 at 11am

July 30 at 4 pm (if needed).
