The KESA Girls U12/13 Rovers are winners of the Gold Medal at the 2024 Family Day tournament in Calgary.
“The Rovers were challenged in all our games, had great development, and quickly learned to play as a team. The girls played with immense heart and energy in their final vs Airdrie, caught them unaware, and never looked back! A 5-1 win over a worthy opponent who bested us 5-3 in our first meeting.”
The team is made up of girls from Kimberley and Cranbrook, and train with Kootenay East Soccer Association.
Players are Ember, Katiyana, Blake, Rylee, Lyndi, Avery, Holland, River, Makayla, Brinnly, Isla, Nixi, and Aquinnah.
