Kaslo celebrated the May long weekend with the 50th anniversary of Kaslo Logger Sports.
Competitors from all over the world battled for top spots in six Canadian Championship events and regular events, while veteran champions challenged the relative newcomers to the event.
The result was a spectacular two-day, non-stop free show featuring the tree fall (using saws 50 years or older), the return of the Bischoff clan, the Gagne family and the reunion of many founding Kaslo Logger sports members.
