MBSS hosts regional volleyball tournament and win big

Mount Baker Secondary hosted a volleyball tournament between local senior teams this past Friday and Saturday.

The Senior Girls were undefeated in pool play and in the draw, winning the tournament by defeating the Fernie Secondary Falcons in straight sets. They are now gearing up to head to Provincials from December 1-3 in North Vancouver.

The Boys side of the tournament ran smoothly with the Wild Junior team holding their own, beating several Senior teams. The Junior team is off to Provincials next week from November 23-26 in Kelowna.

The Senior Boys went undefeated through pool play and playoffs until they lost an exciting final game in three sets to a challenging Banff team. The Senior boys feel great about their final game and are ready to go off to provincials in two weeks from November 30-December 3 in Langley.
