Local lacrosse player Dakota Hollister is headed to the national stage in Edmonton in the Summer.

The Cranbrook product, who is currently playing at the college level with Bellermine University in Kentucky, was recently named to the Team B.C. field team.

Hollister will join 20 other teammates—most of whom are also NCAA players or prospects—that will compete against the rest of the best that other Canadian provinces and territories have to offer in August..

The team is coached by Ian Poole, a former star with St. Vincent College in Pennsylvania, USA.
