Heat win silver at provincials

Cranbrook girls softball team makes it into championship game, fall in extra innings.

The Cranbrook Heat U14C  girls fastball team will be coming home from Maple Ridge with a medal after a strong showing in the U14C provincial championship over the weekend. The Heat won six games as they advanced to the finals against the Chilliwack Her-ricanes. In an exciting final game, the Heat lost 11-10 after 10 innings of play to take silver in the provincial championship.
