The Cranbrook Minor Hockey Association will be hosting a special program to give children an opportunity to try playing the game of hockey in 2017.

“The Canadian Tire First Shift” program is designed for children between the ages of six and 10 to “help [them] fall in love with hockey before [parents] buy all the gear.”

‘First Shift’ is a six-week course which focuses on learning basic hockey skill while also having fun. Registration is $199 and includes head-to-toe Bauer equipment.

In order to register or get more information, the CMHA invites parents to visit www.thefirstshift.ca or call 250-489-8199 or e-mail cmha2005@telus.net.
