Visual Arts Committee Chair Linda Douglas handed out a cheque Saturday to Darlene Purnell, winner of this year's People's Choice Award at the Arts on the Edge Adjudicated Exhibitions. Darlene's fibre art piece titled "Standing Tall" received the most votes from the public.
