The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is thanking residents and businesses in Cranbrook for supporting its campaign to keep door-to-door delivery services.

The Cranbrook CUPW local 728 is still looking for locations to post two more 4x8-foot “Save Door to Door Delivery” signs.

Interested parties can contact the CUPW local by email, cupw728@outlook.com, or by mail, PO Box 141, Cranbrook, BC V1C 4H9.

Canada Post announced in December that it is planning to phase out door-to-door delivery of regular mail to urban residents.
