Every year, the organizers of Locals Coffeehouse in Cranbrook — the popular showcase of local musicianship — donate the proceeds raised from the concert series back to Cranbrook music school programs. This year, Locals donated $500 each to Amy Woodland School, Pinewood, Steeples and Mount Baker Secondary School. $2,000 in total.

Representing Locals were organizers Lorraine Hagel and Mark Casey, and committee members Verna Oderkirk-Bungay and Shawna Plant. Representing the schools were Patti Radies (Amy Woodland), Julie Ackerman (Pinewood), Nancy Dyck (Steeples) and Evan Bueckert (MBSS). They are all pictured here scattered amongst the MBSS Concert Choir. Spot them if you can for extra points.
