Crystal Dillabough and Chris Earle, owners of the Baker Street Cafe in Cranbrook, are pictured behind the bar at Dewey’s, serving as guest bartenders on Friday, Oct. 23. Dewey’s Pub on 10th Avenue South in Cranbrook is hosting celebrity bartenders every Friday between 5 and 9 p.m., as a way of giving back to the community and helping out. All proceeds raised go to local charities of the celebrities’ choice — Dillabough and Earle were donating all their tips to the Cranbrook Society for Community Living. Dewey’s manager Dani Loren says staff have fully bought in to the special event, and everyone’s working hard to make it a success. Up next this coming Friday is Brandon Laurie of Sun Valley Nissan, who will be guest bartending on behalf of Street Angels. Attention: More celebrity bartenders needed. Call Loren at 250-919-5660, or email daniloren@live.ca.
