Mike Connelly’s wife happened to look out the window THursday, only to see a large tire come rolling up from the highway, past the apple tree and below the strawberry beds below the window of the house, just west of Cranbrook. It appears the tire broke off from a transport truck going by, hit the ditch, turned at a right angle and rolled uphill about 125 feet, before it collapsed, it’s journey done. A handful of lugnuts and a lugnut cover accompanied the tire.  The tire is a Hankook 11R22. If you have information or want to collect the tire, contact the Daily Townsman at 250-426-5201.
