Tracey Louise Kelly Kostiniuk of Edmonton Alberta, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2023.
Tracey was born on September 24th, 1969, in Trail, B.C., to Marion and Gordon Hill, the younger sister to Carol Hill. Her family moved around B.C. but settled in Cranbrook where she grew up with her loving family.
From her first marriage came her beloved sons, Shawn and Terry.
After moving to Alberta she found her husband Kevin Kostiniuk whom she loved and was loved by for the remaining 16 years of her life.
Her kindness, generosity love of family and life, lifted everyone who knew her.
She retired from a fulfilling career at Winnifred Stewart Association in 2020 after a stroke the previous year, had left her unable to continue work.
However, her sense of purpose kept her active in quilting, painting, sewing and being a guide, caregiver and sitter to her grandson, grand nephews and niece.
Left to mourn are her parents, Marion and Gordon, Sister Carol, Sons Shawn (Kelley) and Terry (Cheyanne), Husband Kevin, Uncles Gord, Jim (Edwina), her nieces Courtney, Kristin (Jean-Guy) and Katie Mae (Josh), her nephew Kyle (Chelsey), grandson Walker, grand niece Alaya, grand nephews Zachary, Lathan and Caleb as well as numerous other relatives. She will also be missed by numerous coworkers and close friends that she had known.
In lieu of floral tributes, a donation to either Winnifred Stewart Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be welcome.Obituary
