It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle, Thomas Collinson on November 3, 2019 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. Thomas passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Thomas was born to Benjamin and Pearl Collinson at the St. Eugene Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. on September 4, 1945.
Thomas was raised on a dairy farm in Cranbrook and then his family moved onto Ranching out in Lumberton. Thomas met his wife
Lyla and they married January 1970, and then settled in with her on the family ranch "The Brown Ranch". Thomas has also spent many years as a truck driver for Arrow Transport.
Thomas' hobbies were guiding, hunting, and enjoying being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
Thomas Leaves his loving family: his wife of almost 50 years Lyla Collinson (Brown), son Robert Collinson (Shelley Lynn), grandchildren, Natasha, Blaine, Cyrus, Tyree, Wyatt, brother Don, sisters Sylvia and Mary, numerous nieces and nephews
As per Thomas's wishes there will be no services, cremation to take place.
