Susan Louise Patte

February 23, 1949 - July 18, 2018
Sue left us from her home after a brief battle with cancer on the morning of Wednesday, July 18th 2018.

She was born and grew up in Oshawa Ontario the oldest of 5 children. Sue was a natural care- giver, nurturer, and guardian of her 2 brothers Paul and John and her 2 sisters Jayne and Ellyn (Ellie). Susan took up residence in Kimberley with her husband Rob in 2003.

As an adult she worked in the dental field, as a retail manager, dive master, and ski instructor. She loved everything in nature particularly the water, the snow, and the mountains. Sue was a selfless individual who will be remembered for her bright smile, positive attitude, caring nature, and her wise observations of the world around her.

Sue is survived by her husband Rob, brother Paul, sisters Jayne and Ellie, step-sons Jason, Scott, and Dan and their families, step-daughter Amy and her family, grandson Luke, granddaughters Beth and Emily, and many other loving relations in the Patte and McInnis clans.

An informal gathering of friends and family will be held at the Kimberly Nordic Club on Saturday, September 22th from 4 until 6pm. Donations in Sue's name may be made to the Cranbrook/Kimberley Hospice Society and the Kimberley Loan Cupboard.

Life is short - Break the Rules. EForgive quickly - Kiss slowly. ELove truly - Laugh uncontrollably. EAnd never regret anything that made you smile.
