Rosie passed away peacefully December 11, 2020 in the F.W. Green Home at the age of 78.
Rosie was Born in the USA, on October 10, 1942. Rosie came to Canada in 1978 and resided in Calgary, AB before coming to Cranbrook, B.C., with her Husband Don.
Rosie became a Canadian Citizen in 2005 and it was one of her happiest days. She worked for many years as a care aid in the ECU at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, she then became a porter transporting patients to the operating room, which Rosie just loved for 8 years before retirement.
She was on the board of directors for Crime Stoppers and Rosie was also an ordained Marriage Commissioner.
Rosie is survived by her daughter Paddy of Calgary, AB and 3 grandsons, Ryan, Curtis and Quinn, her partner Ken Dodgson, the Dodgson family, longtime friends, Winnie & Ben Huisman, Sally Zackodnik and many friends and co-workers.
Rosie was predeceased by her mother, father, husband Don, and 7 siblings.
Special thanks and big hugs to the nurses and staff of the F.W. Green Home for taking special care of our Rosie for the past 3 years.
Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Rosie's Life will be in the Spring/Summer of 2021.
