Rheo passed away February 1, 2018 at the age of 83 years.

Born September 27, 1934, where he spent his childhood on a farm near the french-speaking community of St. Jean, Manitoba. As a young child, Rheo learned to play ice hockey on the frozen Red River during those long Manitoba winters.

At 17 years old he left the farm to try out for the Flin Flon Bombers. Rheo played for the Bombers from 1952-55 during which time he met the love of his life, Joan Willey.

Rheo and Joan wound up in Kimberley in 1963, where he laced them up with the Dynamiters for about three seasons. Over the years Rheo became heavily involved in Kimberley's hockey and baseball scene in a coaching and executive capacity. He was a truly dedicated member of the Kimberley sporting community.

Rheo was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Anna Touzin. He was an only child. 

Rheo leaves behind his wife, Joan, of 63 years and his children; Jackie (Ernie), Kevin (Cindy), Trent (Hitomi) and Barry; grandchildren, Chris (Meghan) Randi, Taryn (Dusty) Kyle, Shane, Jordan and Rheo;

great grandchildren, Easton, Mira, and Kasin.

Rheo will be remembered for his smile and love of sports.
