It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Albert Goertz announces his passing on December 22, 2019 at the age of 93.
Ray was a part of the Cranbrook community for many years, he owned and operated Superior Plumbing until his retirement. He was a man of many talents he loved being in his workshop building and refinishing furniture. Ray also loved his faith attending the Cranbrook Alliance Church.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen. Children Steve (Lynn) of Kelowna, Terry (Pat) of Vernon, Debbie of Calgary and Rick of Edmonton. Ray was predeceased by his son Gary.
Remembering Ray his stepchildren Brad (Kim) of Cranbrook, Melonie (Murray) of Cranbrook, Lori (Ken) of Calgary. Ray will also be forever remembered by his Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. Ray is also survived by his brother Roland (Rosie) of Stony Plain, his sisters Doris of Courtney, Betty (Rawleigh) of Millet, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Ray will take place in the spring of 2020 at Westlawn Cemetery.
