COHEN, PIERRE LOUIS
It is with great sadness we announce that Pierre passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 30th, 2013 at Foothills Hospital in Calgary.
He is survived by his children, Joe, Lori (Kirk), Beki (Niels) and Jason (Amber); stepchildren, Debbie, Ron and Sherri; 14 grandchildren, Michael, Curtis, Kayla, Issac, Matthew, Niels, Soren, Cruz, Krystal, Tanner, Tesh, Toby, Curtis, Nathan and two great grandchildren, Deagan and Morgan. Pierre also leaves to mourn the many children whose lives he has touched over a 15 year career as a foster parent.
Pierre was born on May 22, 1944 and came from a large family with numerous brothers and sisters. He worked most of his life as a professional driver in Penticton and most enjoyed his years as a school bus driver. He will be reunited with his loving wife, Shirley, to be together forever.
A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, October 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Penticton Indian Band Hall, Green Mountain Road, with a wake and visitation starting Saturday afternoon. Condolences may be shared by visiting www.everdenrust.com
