The family of Chuck Ouillette is saddened to announce his passing on December 25th, 2021. Phillip Charles Ouillette (Chuck) was born in Salmon Arm, BC on June 17th, 1942. Chuck was pre-deceased by his parents Francois Xavier & Laura Ouillette, brothers Frank & Reg, sister Janet, as well as many aunts, uncles & cousins.
Chuck enjoyed a carefree childhood filled with lots of love growing up on the Shuswap Lake. He left home at the early age of 14, and started working on a Saskatechewan farm. Chuck lived in a number of places throughout Saskatchewan & British Columbia. in 1963, he moved to the Kootenays, where he met the love of his life, Bernadine Eve Henning ( Bunny). Chuck and Bunny were married in Cranbrook in 1964, and started a family soon after. They raised their four children, Rick, Dwayne, Lori, & Shane in the Cranbrook area. Chuck was a hardworking man & supported his family working in the Forest Industry, until he retired, at age 71 in 2013. Chuck is remembered as a great husband and an even better father. He was very loved and respected by his children and was blessed to have 12 grand children and 16 great grand children.
Chuck was very happy with his life that he lived to the fullest and with no regrets. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bunny, his children Rick, Dwayne, Lori (Kevin), Shane (Sheri), as well as extended family and friends.
The family would like to invite those who knew Chuck to a celebration of his life to be held from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 3592 Gold Creek Road in Cranbrook, BC.
