1946 ~ 2019 - Paul Elwood Dickson passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital, surrounded by his wife and children. From the moment Paul was born on a cold day in 1946 he brought great joy to his parents. Paul was the oldest brother to Patricia and Wayne.
Along with his family, Paul moved to BC where he worked and retired from the Sullivan Cominco Mine at Kimberley. He raised his family in a beautiful home in Chapman Camp where you often found him working and building on the home. Paul was known for being a man of all trades, there truly wasn't anything he couldn't fix or build.
In 1999, he met and fell in love with Diane Burch, who was the love of his life and together they owned and operated a small business in Cranbrook for many years. They were married in 2003.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Annie May Dickson (Mitchell). Paul is survived by his five children, who he took great pride in, Douglas (Melanie), Laurie (Kyle), Michelle (Peter), Christopher (Naomi) and Amanda (Douglas). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren, and by his sister Patricia (Brian), brother Wayne (Ellie), one niece and two nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, June 14, 2019 at McPherson Funeral Home Chapel, Cranbrook.
