Onidas Chasse, age 86, currently of Cranbrook and a former long time resident of Radium Hot Springs, passed away Friday June 14th, 2019 at East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
He was born February 21, 1933 in Saint-Moise, Quebec.
Onidas lived in the Kootenays since 1968 where he worked in the forest industry for many years. He loved sports, golfing, and bowling. He was always a very generous and patient man.
Onidas is survived by his wife Marie, 7 children Jean-Pierre (Marie), Jacques (Shelley), Danielle (Keith), Marcel (Len), Gaston (Loreen), Christine (Ralph), Isabelle (Kelly); 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. There are no services planned at this time.
