Madden (O'Neil) Kenneth Albert of Nanton, AB passed away suddenly on Dec. 22, 2020 at the age of 79 yrs. Ken was born in Boyle, AB on Jan. 2, 1941, he was the second youngest of 11 children.
He leaves to mourn his 3 children, Colette, Noreen (Darel), Kyle (Charlene). He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Courtenay, Matthew (Amanda), Dany, Tiffany (Benny), Kyle, Noomi (Dallas), Tenille, Logun and Jada and 2 great grandchildren Colbie and Elie Mae. Sisters Selma, Thelma, Sheila and one brother Alan, many nieces and nephews. Ken had a special friend Helen Friesen and many close fiends in Nanton.
Ken was raised on a farm near Ellscott, AB and moved to BC where he met and married Jackie Renaud on July 9, 1966 settled in Cranbrook and raised their family. His trade was bricklaying and masonry, building many beautiful fireplaces and rockwork in homes.
Ken was known for his love of music and laughter and was an avid outdoorsman, loved his fishing, hunting, camping and going for drives in the country, he loved the mountains.
Ken was predeceased by his son Gordon in 2016.
There will be no service at this time because of COVID, we will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
