In Loving Memory ~
It saddens us to announce that Norma Marie Antonia Maclnnes passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022 with her three daughters by her side, Norma was born in Falkirk, Scotland. The family moved to London, England and emigrated to Canada in 1948. Norma had two sisters and one brother.
Norma married her best friend John Maclnnes, on April 27, 1957 in Vancouver, British Columbia. During their marriage over the next sixty years, Norma was devoted to her husband. Norma, was predeceased by John on July 7, 2017.
Left to honour Norma and remember her love are her three children: Toni (Ken); Chris (David); Dana (Odis); four grandchildren: Todd (Maria); Tyler (Theresa); Chris (Allison); Kayla (Steve); and eight great-grandchildren.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Loretta Reilly.
Norma was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold and the voice of an angel, a coloratura soprano. She made every day brighter with her positive outlook on life, and her loving nature and humour. What people remember most is her unconditional love for her husband, daughters and family.
She spoke so highly of them everyday and was grateful for them.
Norma's family would like to thank the kind and caring staff of the Kinsmen Lodge for their incredible care and kindness shown to Norma and our family over the last five years. A celebration of Norma's life was held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Gardens of Gethsemani, 15694-32nd Avenue, Surrey, British Columbia.
