Dec 13, 1940 - Dec 4, 2017
Murray fought a brief, courageous battle against cancer.

Born in Brandon, MB to parents Roselle Carvey-Boudreau and Mark Carvey. When Murray was seven, they moved to Minnadosa, MB where Murray graduated from high school in 1959. He met and married Sherrill in 1963. In 1966 he obtained his BSc in Civil Engineering.

His work took him and his family to different parts of Saskatchewan opening and managing offices for EPEC Consulting Ltd. From 1972 until their retirement, Murray, Sherrill and co-workers tried to make Cranbrook a special place to live. His work here involved their company to work on a new water system, downtown revitalization, infrastructure and many subdivisions, mostly in the south end of Cranbrook. Also, municipal work for the Cities of Creston, Fernie and Sparwood.

He was proud to be a 50 year member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan and BC, affiliate member of the Royal Canadian Legion until retirement in 2000. On family vacations, Murray and Sherrill travelled and enjoyed many states in the USA and in retirement enjoyed cruises to Mexico and Alaska.

Left to mourn are his wife Sherrill, son Marty, daughter Caroline (Steven) and grandsons Matthew, Aidan and Ethan. Brother in laws Rick Sparling, Wayne (Mary) Sparling and their familes as well as his many cousins in Manitoba. He had many fond memories of all his relatives there.

God Bless you Murray, you will be in our hearts forever.
