It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Bradford Kelln on January 18, 2024 at the age of 81 years after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was born August 13, 1942 at Govan, Saskatchewan to John and Ella Kelln of Duval, Saskatchewan.
Mourning Murray is his wife Laverne of 54 years, daughter, Dalice (Jordan), son, Dawson (Keri), granddaughter Mya, grandson Marlo, sisters Sharon (Rick), Adela (Adrian), brother Gary, Connie (Larry), Yvonne (Randy), Natalie (Don) and Terry, in addition to numerous extended family and many dear friends.
Murray was raised on the farm at Duval. In 1961, he joined the navy for three years as an able seaman (radar plotter).
In 1966, Murray moved to BC and worked a few short-term jobs. In 1972, Murray started a 36 year long career with BC Hydro.
In 2022, Murray and Laverne decided to return home to their roots in Saskatchewan and settled in Swift Current to be closer to family. Murray's great love was for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was a good curler, golfer, and general handy man.
He will be missed by many as we all thought there was nothing he could not do or fix!!

A Celebration of Life will be held May 18, 2024 at Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
