It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mike McLellan. Born in Cranbrook BC,
Mike is survived by his wife Dawn (Neale), sister Ginger (Gerry) daughters Corrie-Dawn (Kevin), Chelsea (Jeff), Kathy, and son Mike. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren whom love and miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his parents, Mel and Vera Johnson, brother Skinny and sisters Marjorie and Marcie.
In his early years Mike worked as a blacksmith in Cominco, then on to be President of the United
Steelworkers Union. He later moved to Vancouver with his family in 1986 to work for the WCRB.
He was an avid collector and a baseball enthusiast. He enjoyed playing as well as coaching. Mike was a great man with a huge heart and will be honored and missed by those who knew him.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in time.
