Mary Dutton passed away on March 31st, 2014 at 97 years of age.


Mary was born December 11th, 1916 at Edmonton, Alberta where she was raised and educated before relocating to the Vancouver, British Columbia area with her husband and son in the late 1940’s. They moved to Victoria in the early 1960s and resided at other locations on Vancouver Island where she remained until April 2003 before moving to Cranbrook and becoming a resident of Joseph Creek Village.


Mary is survived by her son John (Darleen), of Cranbrook, grandsons Scott, of Edmonton, and Jeff (Sherry) and great-grandson Ben, of Medicine Hat, nephews Gordon, Kenneth and Larry, niece Lorraine, and several grand-nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband William in April 1994, parents Andrew and Anne, sister Jessie and brothers John, Steve and Fred.


At Mary’s request, there will be no service and her remains have been cremated.
