On the evening of Friday, November 23, 2018 Marian Barbara Nightingale passed away peacefully in lnvermere, BC at the age of 86 years. Marian married her beloved husband, Bill on August 24, 1953 and they were blessed with five children.
Marian was born in Rutland, BC on June 13, 1932 to George and Dorothy Mugford. She was in the Air Force when she met Bill and served for a short time after that. She also did some work as a bookkeeper during the time of raising her family.
Left to mourn her passing is her loving husband, Bill as well as four sons; Bill, Geoff, Brian and Larry. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Marian is survived by one sister, Dorothy Janklak. She was predeceased by her only daughter, Noreen.
A Memorial Service was on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2pm at Christ Church Anglican with interment at the Fort Steele Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.markmemorial.com.
