Marg passed away peacefully at the Kimberley Special Care Home (The Pines) on January 13, 2014. A long time resident of Kimberley, she spent the last 10 years in Joseph Creek Village (Cranbrook) and more recently at The Pines. Marg was predeceased in 1972 by her husband Hugh. She is survived by her two sons Allan (Kirsten) of Sun City West, Arizona, Colin (Janet) of Cranbrook, BC and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and very close friends.
For many years Marg worked in the retail business in Kimberley. She was an incredible person who always tried to give more than she received in all aspects of her life. Toughness and determination were always part of her personality. She will be remembered most for her honest, kind heart and keen sense of humour.
Marg wishes you to remember her in your own special way. At her request there will be no service.
A very special thank you to the staff at the Kimberley Special Care Home. The outstanding nursing care made the last days peaceful for both her and family.
