It is with extreme sorrow that the family of Margaret Myson announce her passing on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 94 years of age.

Margaret was born on March 19, 1921 to Lydia and Albert Prill and was the 5th oldest of 14 children. G.G. was married to her loving husband Butch for 27 years, before his passing in 1978.

G.G. will always be remembered for her caring dedication to her family. She was treasured for her wonderful sense of humour and her never say quit attitude. G.G. will be so sadly missed by her friends and family young and old.

G.G. is survived by her son David, daughter-in-law Debbie, grandchildren Jackie (Dan), David (Liz), Donna (Bobby), Bobby (Jen) and Kevin (Sarah), great grandchildren Jaxson, Davey, Owen, Kennedy, Ethan, Jillian, Gena, Gavin, Taylor, Easton, Rachel, Emaley and Aiden, brother Archie (Buelah), sister Dora (Jack), brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Eva, and many nieces and nephews. G.G. was predeceased by her loving husband Butch, parents Lydia and Albert, sisters Mary, Eva, Netta, Violet, Alma and Ellen and her brothers Albert, Eddy, Clifford, Benny and Ernest.

As per G.G.’s request, a memorial service will be held in Edmonton at a later date which will be announced on the Cranbrook McPherson Funeral Home website.

“I’ve gone home to live with God, and one day I’ll be standing at Heaven’s gate to welcome you home, where we’ll be together again.”

G.G.’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care and kindness given her by Dr. Yvonne Keyzer and Dr. Ryan Lunge, and all the staff at the Kimberley Medical Clinic, the Kimberley Special Care Home “The Pines”, the Daybreak Program and the Community Bus Service.
