Kenneth Arnold Hedquist passed away peacefully on April 5, 2020 at 70 years of age at East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
Ken was born and raised in Kimberley and worked as a mechanic for many years in Cranbrook. Ken will be remembered for his wit and dry humour enjoyed by family and friends.
Ken is survived by his daughter Crystal Isaac and son-in-law Sean Copeland of Delta BC, sister-in-law Donna Hedquist, 2 nieces and 1 great-nephew of Calgary, and best friends Bob and Barb Phair of Kimberley.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Jean Hedquist and his only brother Randy.
In lieu of flowers there is a bursary being set up in Ken's name. No funeral by request.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Caroline Shilhan and the nursing staff at the hospital for their professionalism, kindness, and compassion.
