Kathleen Henrietta Duncan (nee Davidson)
November 3, 1919 – June 15, 2017
It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Kathleen Duncan on Thursday,
June 15, 2017.
Kathy received an MA in English. She
was a published poet, painter, radio and
TV personality, Kathy’s Kitchen CJDC,
avid gardener, musician, teacher – who
regularly brought her students to the
family farm, faithful church member,
church organist, choir leader, was on
advocate for the visually impaired and was
an amazing mother and wife who lived
her life fully and joyfully. While she will
be missed by those that survive her she
will never be forgotten and her example
in life will spur those who knew her to live
lives that refl ect her amazing contribution
to family, church, community and country.
There is no space or time enough to laud
her accomplishments and contributions in
a life as long and fully lived as Kathy’s so we
can only look to those whom she touched
for evidence of her life and legacy. Our
loss is heavens gain – the soprano section
just got richer.
Kathy was predeceased by her husbands,
William Duncan and Stan Brocke. She
is survived by her fi ve children, 11
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of fl owers a donation to – World
Vision or CNIB – on Kathy’s behalf would
be an excellent remembrance of her life’s
passions.
Arrangements entrusted to
McPherson Funeral Service.
