December 17, 1929 - July 1, 2024
In loving memory ~
We are saddened to say that our dad passed away on July 1, 2024, after a long battle with declining health issues. We are all, thinking of you often, missing you greatly. We feel your presence in all that we do. Your sharp mind, clear memory and quick wit are shared amongst all your children grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will forever be remembered and treasured.
Dad was born on a cold day at the farm in Ray Alberta on December 17, 1929. He was one of five boys and eight sisters born to Alberic and Felina (Fielharber) Borle. While working as a mechanic in Devon he met an RCMP constable who convinced Dad to join the RCMP.
His career lasted 28 years stationed in Ottawa, Edmonton, Port Edward, Prince Rupert, Port Alberni, Nakusp, Port Coquitlam and finished in North Vancouver. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, working with his hands, camping, travelling, visiting and meeting new friends but most of all family.
Dad's love for family was unending. He was always there for all of us. He was a courageous man who displayed a high level of integrity, compassion, love and a willingness to help anyone in need.
He is predeceased by his first wife Margo and his second wife Joyce. Dad was blessed to have two soulmates in life. Dad's love and joy shined through their lives together.
Dad is predeceased by five sisters and four brothers. He is survived by his three sisters Jean, Marie and Murt, children Greg, Brian (Viv), and Thom (Jo), seven grandchildren Janelle (Dave), Kyle (Kim), Elliot (Ashli) Aidan (Melanie), Lauren (Dave), Sara-Kate, Zach and ten great-grandchildren.
We miss you greatly Dad
always in our hearts.
"Here it goes, love you whole bunches Pop."
