Born in Wycliffe B.C. June 19th,1919.
Son of Winnifred and Nicolas, youngest brother to Helen, Victor, and Anne.
Loving husband to Rosie (Bilyk).
Son John (Duffy), granddaughter Becky Sahota, great grandsons, Parker, Matthew, and Mark.
Son Greg (Chuckles)
Son Dave (Woody), daughter- in-law Brenda, grandson Frazer, granddaughter: Cassidy, granddaughter Natalie, Grandson-in-law Justin Vance, great grandson Carver, and great granddaughter Dayvia.
Daughter Marianne (Chucky), granddaughter Jody, great granddaughter Madisyn.
Johnny was a prospector, trapper, outdoor guide, cowboy, soldier (tank mechanic), logger, heavy equipment operator and road builder. He was also a long-time member of the Catholic Church and the Legion.
Hobbies included; fishing, hunting, huckleberry picking, gardening, firewood gathering,
and helping family and friends.
He Loved the Great Outdoors!
Some of his attributes to a long and happy life were; an Attitude of Gratitude and "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. "
Family and friends have many treasured memories: he will be dearly missed.

Service to be held at Christ the Servant Catholic Church Cranbrook Saturday, February 15th 1 pm, Reception to follow.
