Harry Charles William Bourne, "Dennis", 79, of Cranbrook, B.C. passed away November 2, 2017 in Castlegar, B.C.

For those that had the privilege of meeting this fine man know how kind, generous, loving, and hard working he was. Dennis came to Cranbrook in the early 70's after the closure of the institutions. He was a Special Olympic Athlete, member of the Knox Church, attended Friendship, REALM, Community Living Center, and was retired from 20 years of delivery of the Townsman in the downtown core.

He loved to ride the city bus, take in a movie, and 'stirring the pot' at the Kootenay Ice games.

Pioneer Lodge was his home and all those that have lived and worked there over the years have played a part in being his family.

Dennis also cared dearly for his sister Kathy in Medicine Hat and her extended family.

Thank you to Castleview for the care he recieved in this past year. May he rest in peace.

A celebration of life will be held in the Community Living Center on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 10:30 am.
