You can only have one mother,

Loving, kind and true,

No other friend in all the world,

Will be so true to you.

For all her loving kindness,

She asks for nothing in return.

If all the world deserted us,

To our Mother we could turn.

For those of us who have a mother,

Treasure her with care.

For you will never know her value,

Till you see that she’s not there.

To hear her voice, to see her smile

To sit and talk with her awhile,

To be together in the same old way,

Would be our dearest wish today.

It is with heavy hearts and a lot of sadness that

we announce our Dear Mom’s passing on Monday, October 13, 2014.

As we grieve her passing we know that Mom has now rejoined our Dad who left us in 1995 and our brother Val who we lost so long ago at 16 years of age.

Mom’s health started to fail two years ago and this past year was very difficult for her. Mom leaves behind her five children Deanna (Harry) Curry, Paulette (Clifford) Curry, Carol Stewart, Gary Naumann and Gaylene Lowe, and her grandchildren and her great grandchildren whom she all loved dearly and equally.

A memorial gathering for Evelyn will be held in the McPherson Reception Room in Cranbrook on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
