It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our precious angel, Elijah William Oemitzsch on Monday, October 13, 2014 in Cranbrook. He was only with us for 5 days, but he touched our lives so very deeply. His big brother Soren was especially proud of him.
Elijah is survived by his parents Paula Kroetsch and Nathan Oemitzsch along with big brother Soren of Kimberley, BC, grandparents Audra Larsen (Barry Clark) of Cranbrook , BC, Brian (Marg) Kroetsch of Red Deer, AB, Shaune Marie Cameron (Mark Sedrovic) of Fernie, BC, and Helmut Oemitzsch of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by his great grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a private family service on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elijah’s memory may be made to the: B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation, 938 - 28th Avenue West, Vancouver, British Columbia, V5Z 4H4.
