Edyta Josefina Sahlen passed away on September 25th, 2018 at Kiwanis Pavilion in Victoria, B.C.
Born in Teulon, Manitoba in 1918 to Bronislau and Weronika Bialuski. Predeceased by her husband Gote Ragnvald Augustin(Ray) Sahlen in 1977. She is survived by her three sons - Hans of Calgary, Alta, Arne of Kimberley, B.C. and Allan (Anna) of Prince George, B.C. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jackie and Emily of Ontario, Cassandra of Lethbridge, AB, Kristin of Victoria, B.C., Aaryn of Maple Ridge, B.C. and Spencer of Coquitlam, B.C. She is survived by one sister, Lida (Leon) Magur of Tempe, AZ and predeceased by two brothers, Rudolph Bialuski of Sacramento, CA. and Harley Haynes of Edmonton, AB, and one sister, Wanda Weldon of Irvine CA.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
