With great sadness the family of Donna Marie Woodall (Lynch) announce her passing at Creston, BC on May 7th, 2022.
Donna was born on August 3rd, 1933 in Calgary, Alberta the oldest of two children to Charles & Annie Lynch. She lived in Calgary until her family moved to Fernie, BC where they started the White Spot Restaurant and then later the Fernie Drive In Theatre.
She met and then later married John (Jack) Alexander Woodall on July 13th, 1953. They moved to Cranbrook and had three children Jay, Cindy and Kelvin. In 1967 they moved to the Farm in Erickson, BC where Mom had a large gardens, an open door and many, many friends.
She was involved in many organizations. The most important part of her life was her family. Her own children, then grandchildren and later great grandchildren all meant the world to her.
After Jack retired they became Snowbirds. She lived her last years in her beautiful home in Erickson and then later in Crestview Village in Creston.
Donna was predeceased by her husband Jack of 55 yrs in 2008, parents Charles & Annie Lynch and her brother Frank. She is survived by sons Jay (Trish) Woodall, Kevin (Verna) Woodall and Daughter Cindy (Hector) MacKenzie. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to Thank the staff of Crestview Village for their wonderful care and a special Thank you to her youngest Granddaughter Colleen for caring and being there in the end.
A Memorial Service will be held for Donna on June 3rd 1:00 PM at Christ Church Anglican in Cranbrook, 46 - 13th Ave. S.
