Donna Charlotte Jane Rusnell “Jane”

April 10, 1947 – December 28, 2016

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Jane Rusnell, who passed away in Moyie, BC on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Besides her husband Brian, she is lovingly remembered by their children Robert Rusnell of Saskatoon; Roger (Kerry) Rusnell of Cranbrook and their daughter Jenna; she is also survived by her sister Doreen Broley of Saskatoon; her brother Clayton (Lois) Unger of Swift Current; her sister-in-law Eileen Unger of Port Alberni; her sister-in-law Vivian Unger of Beechy; her brother-inlaw

Clarence (Donna) Rusnell of Edmonton; brother-in-law Ron (Maryann) Rusnell of Lucky Lake, brother-in-law Bruce Rusnell

of Golden Valley; brother-in-law Cliff Rusnell of Edmonton; brother-in-law Rick (Fran) Rusnell of Whitecourt; sister-in-law Brenda (Ed) Jensen of Calgary; brother-in-law Evan Rusnell of Whitecourt; sister-in-law Donna (Bill) Knihnicki of Saskatoon; sister-in-law Brenda Clark of Saskatoon and numerous nieces and nephews and their children. She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Charlotte Unger and her brothers Doug (Laura) Unger, Norm Unger and Bruce Unger; and her brother-in-law Milt Broley. Jane was born is Eston, Saskatchewan on April 10, 1947 and was raised in Beechy, Saskatchewan. She moved to Cranbrook in 1972 and worked at various locations including Finning, Food and Stuff Esso and Swanson’s Men’s Wear. Jane’s greatest love was family gatherings at Christmas and Birthdays. In her retirement years, she enjoyed baking and painting with her

granddaughter Jenna and swimming three days a week with her friends at the Kimberley Swimming Pool.

A service to remember Jane will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 pm at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook, BC with Pastor Jack Lindquist officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Cranbrook at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or to a charity of your choice.
