The family of Don Bird are saddened to announce his sudden passing at his home on August 12, 2016 at the age of 63 years.
After leaving the Marysville/Cranbrook area Don moved to Alberta. Residing in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Calgary and most recently Okotoks.
Don was a well known and respected realtor in both Medicine Hat and the Okotoks /Calgary area where he resided with his wife Terri and youngest son Brendon for the past 13 years. Both his daughter Nikki and son Shaun are close by in Calgary.
Don had a great sense of humour and was very quick witted. He was always the
first person to introduce himself and offer help where needed. Volunteering was an important part of his life.
Everything Don did in life whether it was with family, his work or socializing with friends he did with passion. Don was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing his talent with family and friends.
Don will be missed and remembered as he brought smiles to many.
He enjoyed time on this earth and made it a better place.
A Celebration of his life is planned for August 21, 2016 at 3 pm at the Elk’s Hall in Okotoks, AB.
