In Loving Memory ~
Clinton (Clint) Ray Dean, age 75 of Cranbrook, BC, passed gently in the comfort of his own home on September 12, 2024.
Clint was born on June 24, 1949 in Yorkton, SK, to Eva Rooke and Cyril Dean. As an adult, he lived in Kimberley, Castlegar, and Terrace before settling in Cranbrook where he lived for 26 years.
He had a long and celebrated career as a Flight Service Specialist for Nav Canada, a position he held for 35 years. He was a long-time member of the Eagle's, the Legion, and the local Car Club where he took pride in his 1969 GTO Judge.
Clint is predeceased by his wife of 40 years Theresa (Terry) and brother Blyth. He is survived by loving wife Sheila, sister Shirley, children Leesa and Phillip, granddaughter Scarlett, stepdaughter Tammy, nephew/best friend Dean and nieces Sunshine, Jayde, Andrea, and Marcia.
Clint was known for his wry sense of humour, his joke T-shirt collection, his thriftiness, and the way he really showed up for people who asked for help. He could fix anything, knew the answer to almost any question, and he never missed the daily news or Jeopardy.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Eagle's Nest in Cranbrook BC on Saturday, November 16th at 11 AM. The family invites friends and family from the community to share their memories of Clint at the event.
