It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother Clara Alice Green (Bower) on Thursday March 3rd, 2022 at the age of 91, in Cardston Alberta.
Clara was born January 25th, 1931 in Eureka Montana. She is survived by her daughters D'Arcy Cummins, Janyce Konkin, Sherri (Bob) Tatlow and Kelly Green (Perry Walz) as well as 9 grand-children, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her son James Randolph (Randy) Green in 1983 and her husband Waldo (Wally) Loewen in 1996, her 4 siblings Dalbert (Phyllis) Bower, Glen (Irene) Bower, Lois (Bob) Johnston, Carrol (Dave) Goodwin and her parents Roy and Jane Bower.
She will be missed not only by her extensive family, but also her nephews, nieces, their families and many friends.
Clara had a unique sense of humor that is now firmly rooted in her family. She worked hard to be independent and she encouraged her children to live their lives in their own way. One of her many passions was nursing as an LPN and the love she had for her patients.
She always dreamed of travelling to Ireland so it seems fitting to quote from an ancient Irish headstone "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
We would like to thank Everyone, including her Doctors and Nurses, for supporting her in recent years which helped her to keep her independence.
A celebration of life will be held in Cranbrook later in the year.
