It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother Gail Jensen on June 20, 2014. Gail lost her battle with Cancer and peacefully slipped away while in the comfort of her home with her family present.
Gail was born on January 4, 1950. She was predeceased by her parents Doris and George and her sister Marilyn. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Jim, her daughters Diana (Ryan) James and Laurie (Cory Fedorwick) Jensen, her grandchildren Keira and Brylie James, as well as her sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews and nieces.
We especially remember Gail for her spunky nature and her gracious and enthusiastic giving of herself to her family and friends. She was small in size but large in life and was fond of talking “at length” with anyone that would listen to her, as her many customers at M&M Meats will remember! Gail loved the outdoors and spent countless hours with her family and friends fishing and hunting and loved camping along with those great card games, star gazing and discussions around the campfires.
A memorial service for Gail will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in her honour may do so to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., PO Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6.
