It is with great sadness that the family of Carol Blankman announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Carol was born in Weyburn, SK on October 20, 1946 before moving to Fruitvale, BC where she met Richard Blankman and married him on June 29, 1963 in Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Carol is survived by her loving husband Richard Blankman, her three children Mike Blankman (Margaret), Wes Blankman (Sandy), Cathy Johnson (Dale), her seven grandchildren Tanisha and Caleb Blankman, Stephanie and Shaylyn Johnson, Victoria and Kimberly Blankman, and Jaiden Seize, and her two brothers Brian Kosolofski and Doug Kosolofski (Tracy). Carol was predeceased by her parents Michael and Kay Kosolosfski and her sister-in-law Peggy Kosolofski.
Carol was known to have a fondness for all animals, including many family pets and the named deer that lived in her back yard. Her attention to detail was second to none when it came to her scrapbooking and personal journals. Carol spent every Sunday afternoon that she could at the local Bingo Hall with many of her friends. May the BINGO's be never ending, Rest in Peace. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
