It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Bradley Phillip Murphy.
Brad was born in Saint John, New Brunswick to Gordon C. Murphy and Georgia Ruth Nancy Murphy. They moved to Calgary, AB and then to Cranbrook, BC where Brad attended school. He met his wife Dena and they were married on the beautiful Island of Nassau in the Bahamas.
They made their home in Kelowna, BC and loved to travel with friends and family to Hawaii and Mexico.
Brad worked hard and loved to keep busy, quickly establishing a strong reputation within the community. In his free time, Brad enjoyed walking his dogs, Taz, Boo, and Bella by the lake, and sharing a cold beer and a good laugh with his close friends.
Brad had a talent; he could fix anything. No job was too big or too small. If you needed help, he was there. Bringing with him his quiet and patient demeanour, his laughter and expertise.
Brad had a big heart. It was recognized by everyone who knew him, which is why so many people loved him. Those lucky enough to have met him will miss his quiet, gentle humour, his generous smile and his friendship.
Brad leaves behind his Wife, Dena; Father and Mother, Gordon and Nancy; Siblings: Kevin and husband Kevin Marks, Krista and husband Benjamin Levisay; David and partner Jeff Fraser and Scott and wife Mika. Mother and Father In laws, Grant and Terri Clerf, brother in law Jamie and wife Claire, his 3 nieces, 2 nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
