Bradford Andrew Turner

Jan. 20, 1956 - Sept. 17, 2017

Brad Turner passed away peacefully with his wife by his side in Kelowna General Hospital on September 17, 2017 at the early age of 61.

Brad was born, raised and lived his life in Cranbrook, BC. He is survived by his wife, Pam; stepson Jeffery (Michele) of Kamloops; daughter Jennifer (Brian) of Suffolk, VA; stepson Mitch of Kamloops; sisters Judy (Reg) of Lethbridge, Cindy (Ian) of Calgary; 1 granddaughter and nephews and nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents Andy and Rena and brother Morley Ross.

In his younger years, Brad was quite involved in the race car circuit. He built and raced his own cars while he worked as a body-man for a local body shop. It was this career that sparked his passion for old cars and hot rods.

Developing allergies to the materials used, he quit and became a professional truck driver. He drove truck for the next 30 years and got to tour most of the US and Canada.

Brad was a multi-talented man who was in the process of renovating a heritage home, doing most of the work himself.

Brad was a "dreamer" amongst his friends and had a big heart willing to help anyone who needed the assistance.

His smile and laughter will be immensely missed by all.

There will be a "Raise your glass" to Brad at his home on Sunday, October 1, 2017 between 1:00 - 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association in honor of Brad.
