Annette Elizabeth Hawkins (nee Wookey) passed away on Saturday, September 8th 2018 after years of battling cancer.
Annette was born March 27th, 1949 in Hazelton, BC and spent her earliest years growing up in the Kispiox Valley. In 1986 she, her husband Robert and their son Kris made Cranbrook their home.
Annette will be remembered for her generous and considerate spirit, for looking out for others more than herself, and for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by Robert, her husband of forty-one years, as well as her brother Nelson Wookey, sister Shirley Wookey, brother Ken McNeil, sister Joyce Mize, and her children Kris Hawkins, Trina Holloway, Bruce Robinson, and her five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Sept 22nd, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cranbrook, BC (2200 - 3rd St. S.)
